WILDFIRE MITIGATION MONEY · NAPA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

The wildfire-mitigation money available to Napa County homeowners — and the fixes it pays for.

California's Safer from Wildfires rules require every insurer that uses wildfire risk in its pricing to give you a discount for documented mitigation — and to tell you which of those discounts apply to your home. The state is expanding your right to see the wildfire risk behind your rate. The same fixes that lower your risk are often paid for — in part or in full — by public programs. Here's what applies in Napa County.

PER 10 CCR § 2644.9 · AB 1 (2025)
